Junior Mechanical Engineer - Energy & Automation Projects

About the role

Our client, a leading company in the energy and automation sector, is looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their Project Engineering team starting 01.09.2025 latest 01.10.2025.

This is your chance to be part of projects in medium voltage drives, see the full process from design to testing, and learn step-by-step with the support of a close-knit team.

Work tasks

• Compare different design options and choose the best solution for cost, delivery time, and performance
• Prepare mechanical and electrical drawings, bill of materials, and order the needed parts
• Take part in testing the machines in the field to confirm they meet performance standards
• Support the purchase of project parts and make sure everything is ready for assembly

We are looking for

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of M-CAD or Solid Edge / Creo (knowing both is a plus)
• First work experience is nice to have, but motivated graduates are welcome
• Curious, supportive, and ready to work towards goals
• Fluent English, German is a plus
