About the role
As a Data Specialist, you will bridge the gap between medical expertise and technical development by defining the data architecture for a new platform. You will serve as a key analytical partner, interpreting longitudinal health data to support evidence-informed decision-making and high-level research initiatives.

Work tasks
This role involves a blend of data architecture design, historical data management, and advanced analytical interpretation to support medical and scientific inquiries.
- Define logical data structures, variable architecture, and metadata for the new medical platform.
- Ensure historical medical data remains accessible and interpretable within the evolving system.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, field logic, and validation rules to ensure data integrity.
- Interrogate datasets to identify patterns, recognize trends, and formulate research questions.
- Conduct exploratory and targeted analyses to support strategic medical and scientific inquiries.
We are looking for

Advanced knowledge in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Science, or Health Informatics.

Good working knowledge of at least one analytical language such as R, Python, SPSS, or SQL.

Demonstrated analytical ability through applied projects, thesis work, or research support.

Fluent English (written and spoken).
