About the role

Our client is an international organisation (IO) active in setting international standards in the field of energy and new technologies. They are now looking for their new layout collaborator to join an existing team. You will mostly prepare and review Word documents to ensure the organization's standards are respected. This will be the opportunity for you to join an IO as well as a dynamic team!

Work tasks

  • Prepare and review MS Word (and some XML files) content to ensure adherence with the IO standards in terms of layout and styling
  • Manage the structure and semantics coherence with the IO’s rules
  • Ensure the IO’s standards of quality are met consistently before the editing & publishing phases
  • Participate in projects linked to the digitalisation of the IO
  • Act as a support for internal committees when expertise in documents layout is needed

We are looking for

  • First similar previous experience (in translation, documents editing, etc.), ideally in the publishing industry
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word
  • Knowledge in automation is a great asset (Macro or VBA)
  • Knowledge of a mark-up language (e.g.: HTML, XML, …)
  • Fluent in English ; the knowledge of French is a huge plus! To succeed in the role, your personal skills are:
